MADECO soya beans project funded by IBSA, supervised by IFAD and supported by ministry of agriculture – making it big for youth empowerment!
Joseph Tumiya from one of the villages in Mpika supported by MADECO produced 13 bags of soya from one Lima and walked away with some cool cash! MADECO provided the inputs to its farmers via the Ubulimi credit scheme, trained them, managed them, nurtured them, provided a market and bought the harvest from them!!
When asked what he found good about the ESB3P run by MADECO…….he responded “The money! Man! the Money!!!!”
